Which Corset to Choose Based on Your Body Type

Corsets come in a number of different styles to suit women’s body types, because of this every woman should consider what style would look best for her body before investing in a black corset.

If you are of average build: if you are of average build with curves, you are blessed with being able to wear almost any kind of corset there is. If you want to accentuate your bust, a corset with a sweetheart neckline will draw attention to your chest, while a corset with an hourglass shape will draw attention to your waist.

If you are tall and slim: If you are quite tall and thin, you may want to use your corset to create the illusion of a larger bust. Women who are taller than 5’6” and small chested can benefit from a corset with beading or embellishments at the chest that can create the illusion of a fuller bust and a corset that pulls in the waist will also create the illusion of more curves.

If you are short and petite: If you are 5’3” or shorter, you should look for a corset that is cut shorter so that it hits your body at the right spots. If you’re worried about being overwhelmed by a corset, look for a black corset or less embellished corset so as not to overpower your petite frame.

If you are short but full-figured: corsets that cinch the waist only work exceptionally well for short, full-figured woman. By drawing in the waist, you will create a dramatic hourglass figure.

If you are tall and full-figured: a longer corset that cinches the waist will make you appear longer and leaner while still drawing attention to your waist and bust.

If you are athletic: if you have larger shoulders, opt for a corset with no straps to make the shoulders appear smaller and daintier.  Read More About Choose E commerce Platform
